An Artistic Monologue

Right-brained, right-winger at work.... Creativity. Yeah, that's my thing.

I work in any medium I can get my hands on: Keyboard (writing), Paper (from drawing & painting, to Origami), yarn (crocheting), camera (photography), computer (digital art, rendering, etc). Yeah, right brained...most definitely.

About This Blog

This Blog is intended to catalog my daily (weekly, monthly -- whenever) creative endeavors. These endeavors were originally intended to be artistic in nature, but didn't want to exclude anything so I'm leaving it open for whatever and where my creativity takes me, be it sculpture, photography, or writing (I'll leave to you, the reader to determine whether writing is considered artistic or not; I've always thought it was).

While not a strict guide, I'm using as one (that's one of many) source of inspiration Noah Scalin's 365: A Daily Creativity Journal: Make Something Every Day and Change Your Life. The premise of this book is to provide guidance in the creation of some type of art project every day for a year, ergo 365 (the author's primary example was his own experience of doing 365 skulls).

That said, I don't plan, or intend, or have a goal to post something every day.  I leave myself open to post as I complete something, but certainly not to set any kind of expectation (To post or not to post, certainly is NOT the question); this is supposed to be fun, not a chore sweat over. As such, wherever this Lopsided, me-oriented blog takes me, that is where I will go.
